Joseph 'Jowie' Irungu, Jacque Maribe's ex-fiancé, is a man shrouded in mystery. His life took a dramatic turn when he proposed to the former Citizen TV reporter in a public ceremony attended by close friends Monica Kiragu, Shix Kapienga, and TerryAnne Chebet.
However, his life took a darker turn when he became the prime suspect in the murder of businesswoman Monicah Kimani. He is currently in Kamiti Prison remand awaiting the ruling on the case.
