On August 13, Joe Mwangi allegedly forged a letter from CS Fred Matiang'i, which he then sent to Magdalene Syombua.
Appearing at the Milimani Court, Mwangi denied the charges, but was subsequently released on a Sh 100,000 cash bail with an alternative bail of Sh 200,000.
Chief Magistrate Francis Andayi made the decision, allowing Mwangi to await trial outside of custody.
