Comedienne Martha Kay has emerged from a three-month sabbatical, a period she describes as the most challenging in her life, but also empowering.
Martha Kay, a top Ugandan comedienne, faced intense backlash on social media after her nude birthday pictures were leaked online in 2019.
Reflecting on her experience, Martha Kay said, 'Taking this time off has given me a chance to breathe, reflect, recharge and strategize on what I truly want for my life.'
She expressed gratitude to her fans and supporters who stood by her during the difficult period, saying, 'I am eternally grateful for everyone that has called, texted, visited, prayed, stood up for me and supported me.'
Martha Kay is now ready to unveil new projects and is excited to reconnect with her fans, saying, 'I missed you guys and I am excited for a second chance to dance with life again.'
