On September 9, 2019, a devastating road accident occurred near Delamere farm in Naivasha, claiming the lives of two people.
A Nissan matatu traveling towards Nakuru collided head-on with a tour van belonging to a local tours and travel agency, which was heading in the opposite direction.
The injured were rushed to Naivasha Sub-County Hospital, while traffic police cleared the busy highway for motorists caught in a traffic snarl-up.
