On Monday afternoon, a devastating road accident occurred along the Naivasha-Nakuru highway, claiming the lives of three people and leaving more than 10 others injured.
The accident happened near Delamere farm when a matatu, carrying the three deceased and several other passengers, collided head-on with a private mini bus.
Naivasha Sub-County Police Commander Samuel Waweru confirmed that several passengers sustained injuries and were rushed to hospital in the Monday crash.
According to Mr Waweru, the matatu driver was attempting to overtake a fleet of vehicles when the accident occurred at around midday.
Mr Waweru added that the mini bus was ferrying tourists, some of whom sustained slight injuries.
