Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud has hinted at a possible exit from the Premier League in 2020, with the MLS being a potential destination.

Although he signed a new deal at Stamford Bridge over the summer, Giroud will be out of contract next June, and he is already considering his next options as he enters the latter stages of his career.

According to ESPN FC, Giroud has closely followed the fortunes of European players who have moved to the United States, and he has expressed interest in the MLS, citing the fact that his children speak English as a major draw.

"MLS, for my family, my children who speak English, it is interesting," Giroud told RMC Sport.

However, Giroud has also stated that he will be open to other opportunities when he eventually departs the Premier League, saying "It is not only MLS which could interest me."

For the time being, Giroud says he is happy at Chelsea and delighted the club activated an extra one-year extension on his deal, citing "real trust" between himself and the club.
