Ghana's Black Stars will host Madagascar at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium on Wednesday to begin their 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualification campaign. The match marks the first of two group-stage fixtures for both teams.

Ghana's recent form includes a March 2017 victory over Nigeria, which secured their place in the 2018 World Cup. Madagascar, meanwhile, has not played since November 2021. The Black Stars' last international match came in March 2018, when they defeated Nigeria on away goals to qualify for the World Cup in Russia.

Other Qualifying Matches

In separate fixtures, Angola faces the Central African Republic. Angola has managed only two wins in their last 12 matches across all competitions, while the Central African Republic has lost three consecutive games and won just one of their last 20 away matches.

Broadcast Details

The qualifier will be broadcast live on Sanyuka TV, K24 Plus, Startimes, GOTV, DSTV, Canal +, and beIN Sports. Additional matches in the group stage will also air on these platforms.
