On September 6, 2019, the Ghana Football Association made history by adopting new statutes at an Extraordinary Congress in Accra. The Normalisation Committee presented the proposed statutes, which were met with overwhelming support from the 155 members present.

The new statutes have now become binding on the Ghana Football Association, marking a significant step towards reform and modernization in the organization.
