East African Artistes' Shocking Confessions in Music

Music is a universal language, but some East African artistes have used it as a means to express sensitive topics that might not be suitable for social media.

Published on September 6, 2019, an article highlighted several artistes who have made shocking confessions in their music.

One of the artistes mentioned is Ethic, who in their famous song 'Pandana', has the chorus with the words, 'Pandana, minayo bas tunabakana'. The word 'bakana' is Swahili for rape, leaving fans to wonder if they are referring to being rough in bed or the actual meaning.

Another artiste mentioned is P-unit, who in their famous song 'Dirunk', says 'mimi hupenda kupita na zile zimebleki', meaning they take ladies who are too drunk home. Please note that most of the men in the video are married.

Other artistes mentioned include Diamond, Mbosso, Savara, Timmy T Dat, and Willy Paul, who have made various confessions in their music, ranging from cheating on their partners to being good in bed.

It is worth noting that some of these artistes have been married, and their confessions might be a reflection of their personal experiences.

It is also worth mentioning that some of these artistes have been involved in controversies, such as Diamond being caught cheating on Tanasha at her baby shower.

Lastly, artistes like Khaligraph and Otile have made confessions about being thieves and cheating on their partners, respectively.
