On July 3, 2019, Willy Paul physically assaulted Susan Mwaniki, a third-year Mt. Kenya University student, for four hours in his Syokimau house. She reported the incident at Thika Police station under OB number 105/5/7/2019.
Despite the horrific assault, Susan returned to Willy Paul, citing fear for her life. In an interview, she revealed that Willy Paul had threatened her, saying he had a gun in the backseat of his car, which he had previously posted on Instagram.
'He told me he has a gun in the backseat of the car and I remembered he had posted it on Instagram and Willy Paul is not one for empty threats he does what he says,' Susan said.
After the assault, Willy Paul acted as if nothing had happened, and Susan stayed with him for four more days. However, she eventually decided to expose his abuse after hearing about his previous threats and altercations with others.
Willy Paul ignored numerous calls and a WhatsApp message from Mpasho seeking comment on the allegations.
