Published on September 5, 2019, Captain Kale's comments have sparked intense debate on social media and in Kenyan society.

As a caller on MainaAndKingangi's morning show, Captain Kale is known for his outspoken views, which often target women and the current generation.

"I love Classic 105 because of the great songs. Maina is a great presenter and Kingangi kills the show. He calls a spade a spade and that's what I like," Captain Kale said in an interview.

However, his comments have been met with criticism, with many accusing him of being misogynistic and out of touch with modern society.

"I don't hate women, I just want marriage to be respected and ladies to treat their husbands as their mothers do to their fathers," Captain Kale said in response to allegations of hating women.

He also expressed his disappointment with the current generation, saying that they are not living up to the standards of their parents.

"I have lost quite a number of friends. I have been blocked on different social media platforms by my friends who don't take my criticism positively but I don't give a damn," Captain Kale said.

Despite the backlash, Captain Kale remains unapologetic, insisting that he is speaking the truth and that his comments are necessary to bring about change in society.
