Reggae fans in Nairobi are in for a disappointment as Don Carlos' show, billed as the biggest reggae weekend in the city, has been postponed.

The show, which was scheduled to take place at Uhuru Gardens on Saturday, has been pulled down from the organizers' website without any explanation.

Don Carlos, a renowned roots reggae artist, has performed in Kenya several times, with his last show being in June 2017.

His postponement leaves Konshens, a popular Jamaican dancehall artist, as the main performer at the Kenya for Hype Fest, which will also feature other artists such as Ethic, Gwaash, Ochungulo Family, Chris Kaiga, Sailors, Sol Generation's Bensoul, and Nviiri the Storyteller.

Organizers of the event have not given any reasons for the postponement of Don Carlos' show.
