On August 24, Samuel Kinyanjui from Nyeri was hijacked by four armed carjackers while delivering goods to customers at a market. The thieves made off with his Probox at gunpoint.
Kinyanjui reported the incident to the police, who quickly sprang into action.
"I was hijacked by armed men after delivering goods to my customers at the market. They accosted me, drove me around and later dumped me in a thicket," Kinyanjui recounted.
Fortunately, good Samaritans rescued Kinyanjui and took him to a nearby health facility for medical attention.
After the theft, Kinyanjui was advised to contact Daktari Baba Nyuki, a renowned traditional medicine man known for helping people recover stolen property. Nyuki used his bees to track down the carjackers, who were hiding in a garage in Murang'a.
The bees attacked the carjackers, causing a commotion that led to their arrest by police officers.
"After presenting my vehicle purchase and registration documents, it was given back to me," Kinyanjui said, relieved.
Recently, Nyuki also helped a Bungoma County resident, Joseph Khaemba, win a court case after 15 years of litigation. Nyuki used his traditional remedies to shift the case in Khaemba's favor.
"After over 15 years in court, our file had already gathered dust in the shelves but eventually when the judgement was delivered on April 18, I managed to win the case. I was just at the brink of losing the 12 acres piece of land, thanks Daktari Baba Nyuki for your help," Khaemba said.
