Published on September 4, 2019, gospel singer Weezdom has made a surprising return to Bahati's record label EMB, marking a reconciliation between the two musicians.
After leaving the label, Weezdom had accused Bahati of deleting his music from the EMB records YouTube channel and claimed that Bahati's wife Diana Marua was meddling with affairs at the label.
However, Weezdom has since admitted that he was wrong to attack Bahati and has apologized for his past actions.
"It is a very personal decision. He was the one who put me in the limelight since the first day. I have been attacking him since I left his label but I thought it wasn’t the right thing to do," Weezdom said.
He also revealed that his pastor and friends had been urging him to apologize to Bahati for a long time, and that his mother considers Bahati as her own child.
Before returning to EMB Records, Weezdom had been signed under DJ Sadic's label Genius Entertainment, where he had a different kind of contract based on projects.
"I haven’t gone to EMB as a business, I’m just back home. Bahati is more than a person signing me, he is my father in the music industry," Weezdom said.
He has also released a new song with Bahati titled 'Block', which marks his return to the label.
