Kenindia Assurance Ltd, Kenya's oldest insurance company, has strengthened its life insurance business with the appointment of Uthup Joseph as General Manager, effective August 2, 2019.
Joseph, a seasoned leader with 28 years of experience at Life Insurance Corporation of India, joins Kenindia Assurance from a senior role as Senior Divisional Manager, overseeing Individual Life Insurance and Pension and Group Scheme.
According to Kenindia's Managing Director Inderjeet Singh, Joseph's valuable experience and leadership skills make him an ideal addition to the company's life insurance business, where he will be a huge asset to the actuarial and financial risk management practice.
Joseph's appointment is effective August 2, 2019, and marks a significant milestone for Kenindia Assurance as it continues to grow and expand its services in the life insurance sector.
