On August 30, 2019, during a live recording of his show in Bungoma, comedian Daniel Ndambuki, alias Churchill, expressed regret over a couple's separation.
According to reports, Gabriel Wenani's wife, Esther Nanjala, had sold their only cow to attend Churchill's show, leading to a heated argument and eventual separation.
Churchill, who has a large following in Bungoma, took it upon himself to mediate the situation and help the couple reconcile.
"We have made a follow-up and we have realised how serious it is. As such, we have found the husband and we call upon the lady wherever she is to go back to his spouse and Churchill will buy the couple another cow," Churchill said.
However, Esther Nanjala has gone missing, with her husband claiming that she was warned not to return home without the cow.
Wenani pleaded with Churchill to help him get another cow, as the lactating animal Nanjala sold was their sole source of livelihood.
"My wife went leaving me with children. I am suffering and I would like those who are capable to help me bring her back," Wenani said.
Churchill's efforts to reunite the couple have sparked a mix of reactions, with some people praising his kindness and others questioning his motives.
