On September 2, 2019, Uganda Cranes interim head coach Abdallah Mubiru announced a 25-man squad to face Kenya in an international friendly match scheduled for September 8, 2019, in Nairobi.
Mubiru included several players who participated in the 2019 AFCON Finals in Egypt in his squad selection.
Local-based players will join the international-based players in the squad to face Kenya in the friendly match.
