On Sunday, Harambee Starlets stormed to the third round of the 2020 Olympics qualifiers with a 3-0 win over She Flames of Malawi at Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos.

The national women's football team secured a 5-3 aggregate win, despite losing the first leg 3-2 in Blantyre last Wednesday.

Starlets' Mwanahalima Adam scored a brace, while Cynthia Shilwatso netted the third goal for Kenya.

The match was played behind closed doors due to security concerns, but the absence of home supporters did not deny the hosts the party.

Elizabeth Wambui sent warning shots to Malawi early in the game, but it was Starlets who took the lead two minutes later through Shilwatso.

Adam's cool finish in the 80th minute sealed the win for Starlets, and she grabbed a brace and netted the third goal for Kenya at the stroke of normal time.

With this win, Harambee Starlets will now meet Ghana or Gabon in the third round of the 2020 Olympic qualifiers.
