On a day that will be remembered for a long time, two census enumerators in Kenya showed kindness and compassion to an aging granny in their village.

According to a photo shared on Facebook by Felista Wambui, the enumerators, who were still in their work attire and carrying bags on their back, went to a nearby river and fetched water for the granny, just like loyal children.

As seen in the photo, the pair counted the granny's water needs and then dashed to the river, carrying jerricans to fetch the water. They carefully filled the containers before heading back to the granny's home.

The grateful granny waited outside her house and smiled as the two approached with water in their hands. As a token of appreciation, the elated granny sat down with the kind souls and prepared a cup of tea for them.

It just goes to show that kindness never goes unappreciated. This heartwarming act has left many Kenyans with a sense of pride and a reminder of the importance of kindness and compassion in our daily lives.
