On September 1, 2019, a shocking incident unfolded in Narok County, where a secondary school teacher and his Form Three student were caught in a lodging.
According to Assistant Chief Richard Bett, the teacher, Nathan Kosgei, was arrested by police officers after members of the public reported the matter.
Mr. Bett explained that the 17-year-old student was spotted at a room that had been rented by the teacher, prompting the public to call him.
He then alerted the police, who forced their way inside the room and arrested the duo. The two were taken to the Transmara West sub-county hospital for medical assessment before being held at Emmurua Dikirr Police Station.
Confirming the incident, Assistant Chief Bett said, "Members of the public called me after the girl was seen at a lodging locked in the room with the teacher."
