September 1, 2019, marked a day when Celestine Ndinda, wife to comedian Njugush, shared her thoughts on the importance of maintaining a small social circle.

According to Celestine, having a small group of close friends is crucial, especially in a bustling city like Nairobi. She believes that this approach helps individuals avoid unnecessary stress and financial burdens.

Celestine, who has been a supportive partner to Njugush since his early days as a comedian, emphasized the value of having a small, reliable group of friends. She shared her own experience, stating that having too many friends can lead to financial strain and pressure to constantly attend social events.

‘I have learned that in life, you need to learn at most five close friends. By doing this, be sure that the first three will help you when you are in need,’ Celestine advised.

She also highlighted the importance of being true to oneself and not competing with others. ‘When you compete with your friends, you will get exhausted. So go with your pace,’ she said.

The couple's close friends include Abel Mutua and his wife Judy Nyawira, Philip and his wife Cate Actress.
