Chelsea manager Frank Lampard is still searching for his first win at Stamford Bridge after his side blew a 2-0 lead to draw 2-2 with Sheffield United on Saturday, August 31, 2019.

Chelsea's Tammy Abraham scored two opportunistic strikes in the first half, but the hosts' defence collapsed after the break, allowing United to level the score.

Sheffield United's Callum Robinson and Kurt Zouma scored the equalizing goals, with Robinson netting in the 48th minute and Zouma scoring an own goal in the 90th minute.

Lampard's decision to retain Kurt Zouma, who was criticized after the 4-0 defeat to Manchester United on the opening weekend, proved costly as the Frenchman scored an own goal.

Chelsea's youthful endeavour was undone by a resilient Sheffield United side, who caught the eye with their overlapping centre-back play.
