On a recent interview with K24's Betty Kyalo, Bahati revealed his intention to seek the presidency in the 2037 elections.
According to Bahati, his decision to enter politics is driven by a desire to uplift the lives of Kenyans, particularly those living in Nairobi's Eastlands area where he grew up.
He aims to be a voice for the African child and millions of poor people struggling to make a living, aligning with his mission to make a positive impact on society.
Bahati expressed confidence in clinching the seat, assuring Kyalo that he will one day occupy the highest office in the land.
However, he failed to share how he would achieve his dream or if he would go for other seats before eventually going for the top seat in 2037.
Notably, Bahati's involvement in politics is not new, having graced several political events and given performances in the past.
One notable incident was his performance at Kasarani during the launch of Jubilee Party in 2016, where he came under attack after he literally took over the president's seat.
He was later barred from coming close to President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto, with the presidential security detail subjecting him to strict protocol whenever performing at an event attended by the president and his deputy.
Kenya has seen an increasing number of celebrities and musicians venture into politics, with notable examples including Starehe MP Charles Njagua, popularly known as Jaguar, Chris Darling, and McDonald Mariga.
