On Saturday, August 31, 2019, the All Africa Games came to a close in Rabat, Morocco, with Kenya's national volleyball team, Malkia Strikers, being crowned African champions.

They secured the title by defeating Cameroon in the final match, winning three sets to one with scores of 12-25, 25-15, 26-24, and 25-21.

Although Kenya started slowly, losing the first set, they managed to turn the game around and win the subsequent sets, securing the gold medal and leaving Cameroon with the silver.
