Standing at two levels, the Timber House boasts a living room, bathroom, kitchen, and two bedrooms, all available for $75,000. The structure is comprised of two 40-foot shipping containers stacked on top of each other, requiring the buyer to install stairs and hook up basic utilities such as electrical and plumbing.
While the idea of building a two-story tiny house may seem daunting, one Amazon customer who purchased the structure noted that it was a rewarding experience, saying, 'I think the most rewarding part was putting this together! [...] Don't worry though; it wasn't super complicated due to me being a 59-year carpenter/structure engineer.'
The Timber House features floor-to-ceiling windows on each floor, allowing for an abundance of natural light. The design also includes a deck on the second floor and a covered outdoor area on the first, making it a stylish and functional living space.
While the Timber House may not be suitable as a backyard escape, it can make for a great second house or Airbnb. With its unique design and eco-friendly features, this prefab tiny house is definitely worth considering for those looking for a sustainable and stylish living solution.
