On August 30, 2019, Astral Aerial, a Kenyan drones service company, signed a deal with Yamaha to introduce the Yamaha Fazer R G2 drone in the Kenyan market.

The partnership, signed at the TICAD7 conference in Yokohama, Japan, aims to revolutionize agriculture in Kenya and strengthen Kenya's partnership with Japan.

According to Goldman Sachs, the agricultural sector is expected to be the second-largest user of drone technology in the next five years.

Astral Aviation CEO and Founder, Mr. Sanjeev Gadhia, expressed his optimism about the partnership, saying it would enhance both companies' missions.

"Our association with Yamaha will provide us with the necessary impetus to scale our delivery capacity in the agricultural and civil engineering fields as the Fazer range of drones enjoy an unrivaled and proven reputation in agricultural performance," he commented.
