Andrew Kamau, the central figure in the Banda Homes real estate fraud that defrauded investors of Ksh3.9 billion, is now accused of orchestrating a new scheme through companies including Sabini Projects Ltd and Crayven Ltd, according to whistleblower accounts. The report alleges Kamau, who previously operated under the alias "Mr. Banda," continues his deceptive practices by using frontmen to conceal his involvement in these ventures.

A source revealed Kamau maintains control over these entities through social media profiles and registered business documents, citing Facebook registrations as evidence. The whistleblower emphasized Kamau’s history of financial misconduct, including a 2018 case where a buyer reported incomplete construction of a property purchased through Banda Homes, with no delivery despite full payment.

Legal battles surrounding Banda Homes date back to 2019, when the company faced disputes over land ownership involving a Kenyatta family member. In 2020, Kamau’s activities were linked to other fraudulent ventures, including connections to Gakuyo Real Estate. Authorities, including the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) and Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), are reportedly investigating his current operations.

Investors are being warned to scrutinize real estate projects carefully. A 2021 report highlighted Kamau’s alleged pattern of delaying construction and failing to deliver properties, with one buyer stating, "I completed payments in 2018, but the house remains unfinished." The same source noted that earlier complaints in 2019 were suppressed, with critics silenced.

Kamau’s legal troubles extend beyond real estate. A 2021 whistleblower claimed he physically assaulted his wife, citing hospital records and video evidence. Additionally, his family has a history of criminal charges, including a 2014 incident where his brother murdered his wife before taking his own life.
