Published on August 30, 2019, vocal lawyer Miguna Miguna has come out guns blazing against Orange Democratic Movement Party and its leader Raila Odinga.

The party had to postpone its nominations from August 31 to September 7, 2019, citing a lack of security personnel.

However, Miguna alleges that the party is not fit to govern and lead since they are dependent on the state security which violated and brutalized its citizens.

“A political party that cannot conduct its own nomination exercise without the “help” of state security agents who brutalized, tortured, maimed and killed thousands of its supporters just a few months ago cannot purport to be ready to govern. ODM and Raila Odinga are jokers,” Miguna wrote on his Facebook page.

He further criticized Raila Odinga for not being a democratic leader, stating that there is no exercise The People’s Con-Man Raila Odinga can conduct democratically, fairly or credibly.

Miguna also claimed that ODM nominations will be manipulated since Raila was out to impose a ‘sycophant’ after her daughter was ‘rejected’ by Kibra residents.
