Published on August 29, 2019, Arsenal fans are reeling after Alexandre Lacazette was once again snubbed by France head coach Didier Deschamps.
Deschamps opted for Olivier Giroud, Thomas Lemar, Antoine Griezmann, Kingsley Coman, Nabil Fekir, Wissam Ben Yedder, and Jonathan Ikone over Lacazette for France's friendlies against Albania and Andorra.
Despite France's World Cup victory in 2018, Lacazette has not played for the national team since 2017, and his omission has left many fans puzzled.
One possible explanation for Lacazette's exclusion could be an injury, as he only featured briefly in Arsenal's 3-1 defeat to Liverpool on Saturday.
Other notable absentees from the squad include Chelsea's N'golo Kante, who has been struggling with fitness issues, Kylian Mbappe, and Ousmane Dembele.
