Published on August 29, 2019, Kenyan gospel singer Jimmy Gait has made a shocking revelation about his recent health scare.
Jimmy Gait had traveled to India two weeks ago for specialized treatment after being diagnosed with a strange throat condition by Kenyan doctors.
However, medical tests conducted on him in India revealed that he was misdiagnosed, and the proposed throat surgery would have left him unable to sing again.
"This is because your voice would have permanently changed. You couldn't have been able to sing. That was truly shocking and I couldn't believe my ears," Jimmy Gait said in a YouTube video.
According to the singer, Kenyan doctors had recommended an operation without conducting thorough tests, suggesting that they were only out for his money.
Dr. Sanjay Khanna, who has been treating Jimmy Gait at BLK Hospital in India, revealed that the pain he was experiencing in his throat was actually caused by increased acid production leading to an infection in his stomach.
Jimmy Gait expressed his shock at the misdiagnosis and the quick recommendation for surgery, stating that he was taken through comprehensive medical tests in India to establish what exactly he was suffering from.
