The opening was attended by British High Commissioner Jane Marriot, Treasury Principal Secretary Julius Muia, and Nairobi International Financial Centre CEO Oscar Njuguna.

With Africa’s population projected to reach 2 billion by 2050, Prudential is investing in technology like its AI-powered Pulse app, which offers health and wealth management solutions. The platform operates across eight African markets, targeting digitally engaged consumers.
The company reported an insurance penetration rate of 2.7% and $6 billion in out-of-pocket healthcare spending across the continent. Prudential’s local leadership model includes eight African country CEOs, reflecting its focus on regional expertise.

Prudential first entered Africa in 2013 through Ghana and now operates in Cameroon, Cote d’Ivoire, Ghana, Kenya, Togo, Uganda, Zambia, and Nigeria.
