Manchester United's Alexis Sanchez has joined Inter on a loan deal, bringing an end to his 18-month stay at Old Trafford.
Sanchez's time at Manchester United was marked by a torrid spell, with the Chilean scoring just five goals in 31 appearances in all competitions.
According to reports, Sanchez was informed by Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer that he would only feature in the Europa League and domestic cup matches this season.
The decision was reportedly made due to fears that Sanchez had become a divisive figure in the dressing room.
Sanchez will now link up with ex-Man United striker Romelu Lukaku at San Siro, in a move that could help him rediscover his spark.
Representatives from Manchester United and Inter worked on the deal over the last few days, reaching an agreement earlier this week.
