Located inside the historic Old Post Office Pavilion, the Trump International Hotel in Washington DC opened its doors on October 26, 2016, after a $200 million renovation. The hotel has since become a hub for conservative groups and Trump associates, with its luxurious amenities and high price tags.

One night in the presidential suite costs a staggering $15,000, making it a rarefied experience for those who can afford it. However, the hotel's appeal extends beyond its opulence, as it has also become a popular destination for lobbyists, Republicans, and executives.

As reported by The Washington Post in August 2019, Attorney General William Barr booked the hotel for a private holiday party in December, which is expected to cost over $30,000. The party will feature a buffet and a four-hour open bar, with around 200 people in attendance.

On a related note, President Trump suggested hosting the next G7 summit at his Miami golf resort, sparking concerns about the potential for conflicts of interest. The Trump International Hotel in Washington DC remains a symbol of the Trump brand's commitment to luxury and exclusivity.
