In 2021, Willykester Ndanu Mwendwa and Patrick Juma Kingoro received 22-month prison terms after pleading guilty to forging corporate documents for Group Seven Security Company, as reported by Milimani Chief Magistrate Mutuku.

The court offered defendants an option to pay Sh110,000 fines or serve two months per charge. Each was ordered to pay Sh10,000 per count or face 22 months in prison for combined offenses.

The pair admitted to creating falsified company minutes, CR19 forms, and resignation letters attributed to directors Abdi Sahal Ali and Hussein Hassan Ali. They claimed a meeting occurred on August 24, 2017, with Abdi Salal listed as chairperson, though this was later disproven.

Group Seven Security Company's legal representative, Suleiman Bashir, requested severe penalties, emphasizing the deliberate nature of the fraud. The court noted the defendants collaborated with unnamed accomplices to deceive stakeholders.
