Dennis Oliech Denies Interest in Kibra Parliamentary Seat

Former Harambee Stars captain Dennis Oliech has denied interest in the Kibra parliamentary seat, hours after his contract with Gor Mahia was terminated.

On August 27, 2019, a campaign poster surfaced online, allegedly showing Oliech expressing interest in the seat on an ODM ticket.

However, Oliech has come out to debunk the reports, accusing Gor Mahia of denying him a right of reply on the matter.

According to Oliech, if he were to venture into politics, he would gun for the Dagoretti North seat and not Kibra.

"If I wanted to vie for the seat I would have surely made a public announcement," Oliech said in a statement.

He also accused Gor Mahia of making a hasty decision following reports he was going to vie for a political seat.

"And to make it worse Gor Mahia have gone on to believe all the reports without even calling me to seek clarifications from my end," Oliech added.
