On a fateful day in Embu's Matendeni area, a young woman's Valentine's Day gift from her boyfriend sparked a heated argument with her mother.
According to eyewitnesses, the mother had arrived at the daughter's home with the gift, but when the daughter refused to accept it, the mother handed it over to her and then called the boyfriend to explain the situation.
"I want my gift that was brought by my boyfriend. He called me and explained everything. Why are you refusing to give me my gift? If you don't give it to me, we won't have peace here at home," the daughter said to her mother, as reported by Taifa Leo.
Despite the daughter's insistence, the mother refused to hand over the gift, citing reasons for her decision.
As the argument escalated, the mother and daughter engaged in a heated exchange, with the mother refusing to back down.
