Published on August 28, 2019, a Manchester United sign outside the team's training base at Carrington was vandalised with the words 'Pogba out'. The sign was erected last week to address safety concerns and crowd congestion.

Manchester United had installed the sign to prevent fans from gathering and obstructing local residents, citing the large crowds that formed outside the training ground during the summer holidays.

However, the sign was met with criticism for making modern football less accessible to fans who congregate at Carrington to meet their heroes.

Paul Pogba's future at Manchester United remains uncertain, with Real Madrid reportedly interested in signing the France international. The European transfer window closes on September 2, but Real Madrid's chances of securing Pogba's signature may be affected by Neymar's potential return to Barcelona.

According to Spanish publication Marca, Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane is adamant that he wants a deal done for Pogba, who dropped a hint over the summer that he is looking for a new challenge.
