Manchester United's Alexis Sanchez is set to join Inter Milan on a 10-month loan deal, with the Italian side expected to contribute a significant portion of his salary.
According to Sky Sports News, the deal will cost Manchester United around £6m (Sh760 million), with Inter Milan not agreeing an option to buy the Chilean at the end of the season.
Sanchez is set to arrive in Milan today (Wednesday) for a medical, where he will link up with his former team-mate Romelu Lukaku, who joined the Serie A club for £74m (Sh9 billion) this summer.
Inter Milan's Antonio Conte-led side are expected to contribute around €5m (Sh573 million) of Sanchez's salary, with the transfer window for the Spanish LaLiga, Italy's Serie A, Germany's Bundesliga, and France's Ligue 1 closing at varying times on Monday, September 2.
Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer plans to primarily play Sanchez in the Carabao Cup and Europa League should his move to Inter Milan fail to materialise.
