Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is facing a major squad selection headache ahead of the team's Premier League clash against Southampton on August 31, 2019.
The team's 2-1 shock defeat to Crystal Palace at Old Trafford on August 24, 2019, brought more misery for Solskjaer as two of his first team players, Anthony Martial and Luke Shaw, picked up injuries during the clash.
Shaw's left-back position is likely to be filled by Ashley Young, who was introduced as a substitute shortly after Shaw limped off, and now looks set to keep the position in the meantime.
With Martial out injured, Solskjaer could turn to Marcus Rashford to play through the middle, as new signing Daniel James possibly plays on the left wing.
And with Jesse Lingard out of form and Alexis Sanchez potentially leaving, youngster Mason Greenwood could be drawn in to add depth in the attack.
