On August 22, 2019, Tanzanian singer Diamond Platnumz and his fiancée Tanasha held a baby shower at English Point Marina. The event was a beach-themed celebration with a white and sky blue color scheme.
However, the celebration was marred by controversy when Diamond wore a shirt that he had previously worn with his ex-wife Zari in 2017. The shirt was a sky blue color, which was also the theme of Zari's son Prince Nillan's first birthday in Pretoria, South Africa.
Many are questioning whether Diamond is still in love with Zari or if he wore the shirt to provoke her. Alternatively, it is possible that he bought a new shirt with the same design and color. Sky blue is also considered a color of peace and serenity, but it remains to be seen if it holds any significance for Diamond.
On February 14, 2018, Zari publicly announced that she had ended her relationship with Diamond due to his cheating ways. She stated that she could no longer compromise her respect, integrity, dignity, and well-being in the relationship.
