Manchester United and Italian side Inter Milan have reached an agreement on a loan deal for Chilean striker Alexis Sanchez, who has been recuperating from an injury and has not played any game this term.

The deal comes just two weeks after Inter Milan completed the signing of Belgium international Romelu Lukaku from Manchester United.

Sanchez's departure from Old Trafford means manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will have limited striking options, with Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial, and Mason Greenwood being the only available players.

Anthony Martial is currently out of action due to an injury sustained in Manchester United's defeat against Crystal Palace.

Sanchez's move to Inter Milan is a significant development, especially considering his impressive form at the 2019 Copa America while playing for his country Chile.

Earlier, Sanchez found himself in a humorous situation when he received a £60 parking ticket after returning home from London and getting into his car at Wilmslow train station.

As one of the highest-paid players in the Premier League, Sanchez earns a whopping £505,000-per-week, but his recent form and injury have raised questions about his future at Manchester United.
