However, Ariel's toned figure has not been without controversy. In the past, she faced body-shaming comments from fans who criticized her for losing weight. One fan wrote, 'You were fine just the way you were before not now.' Others commented on her overall shape, saying, 'Where are the curves?!' and 'Where your booty go?'
Some even accused her of getting plastic surgery, with one user writing, 'Nothing wrong with being honest and telling her we liked her better before 'the change,' the user wrote. Ariel responded to the criticism with a sweet and effective clapback, saying, 'I appreciate you wanting to help girls love themselves the way they are, but you are also kind of cutting someone (me) down which isn’t what I think you were trying to do?' She also denied getting plastic surgery, stating, 'I also didn’t get plastic surgery. That is also not supportive of women if you’re just assuming about the way they look.'
