On a typical day at the gym, it's not uncommon to see people glued to their smartphones, scrolling through social media or checking their emails. But for one Instagram comedian, this behavior was just too much to handle.
According to Men's Health, the prankster, who goes by the handle @nasnino, decided to take matters into his own hands and record a video of himself spraying water on unsuspecting gym-goers who were caught using their phones.
As reported by Men's Health, the video shows the prankster targeting people who appear to be on their phones, but some of the individuals may have simply been resting between sets or listening to music with their headphones on.
While the prankster's intention may have been to shame people for their phone use, the video has sparked a debate about etiquette and personal space at the gym. Some argue that it's not okay to spray water on someone without their consent, especially if they're not actively using their phone.
As Men's Health points out, there are better ways to handle the situation, such as politely asking the person if they'll be done soon or if you can work in.
