IEBC Confirms Receiving Fake Letter from Jubilee Party

On August 26, 2019, at 11:00 pm, the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) received a letter claiming to be from the Jubilee Party, listing five aspirants for the Kibra seat, including soccer star McDonald Mariga.

However, the IEBC later confirmed that the letter was a forgery, and the party had denied sending it. The IEBC stated that they had received the letter in their office but had not acknowledged it.

The IEBC has demanded that the Jubilee Party resolve the controversy and take action against the person who wrote the fake letter.

Uchaguzi mdogo wa Kibra unatarajiwa kufanyika Novemba 7, 2019.

Kiti hicho kilibaki wazi kufuatia kifo cha Ken Okoth mnamo Julai 26, 2019.
