Published on August 27, 2019, Tottenham striker Harry Kane admitted that his team's shaky start to the Premier League season has left him worried about their chances of catching up with leaders Liverpool and Manchester City.

With just one win in three games, Tottenham find themselves five points behind Liverpool, who are leading the pack. Kane emphasized that his team cannot afford many more slip-ups, or else the reigning champions City and Liverpool will be out of sight from the chasing pack.

It's a disappointing start for Tottenham, who were expected to close the gap on the top two teams. However, Liverpool and City have set a blistering pace, and Tottenham are struggling to live up to their tag as the team most likely to challenge them.

Speaking about the team's performance, Kane said, "As you're seeing from Manchester City and Liverpool, there is no letting up from them. I said before the start of the season that if we could put a run together, get that momentum, maybe winning for two-three months on the spin without dropping any points, then that's what it's going to take."

He also sounded a warning that Tottenham must get a result from Sunday's North London derby at Arsenal, and victory there would put a different complexion on their start before reporting up for England duty.
