On August 26, 2019, a High Court judge's wife reported him missing after he failed to arrive home, despite calling to say he was on his way.

Concerned, the judge's wife and son tried to contact him, but their calls went unanswered.

They then tracked the judge's vehicle and discovered it was moving suspiciously in Nairobi, leading them to suspect a carjacking.

Police circulated the vehicle's number plates, and it was later spotted in Kileleshwa, where officers shot at the right tire, deflating it.

However, instead of finding a carjacking victim, police found the judge in a drunken state.

The judge denied being carjacked, and police are investigating the incident, which occurred without any injuries.
