Published on August 27, 2019, Victor Wanyama's days in North London appear numbered as talks with Belgian Division A side Club Brugge are underway.
According to reports, Tottenham Hotspur has agreed a deal worth KSh 1.7 billion (£13.5m) for the Harambee Stars skipper, but Wanyama could be the one holding out on the move.
Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino has admitted that despite the player's potential, his performance has gone 'backwards', claiming Spurs 'are not a charity'. Pochettino stated, 'In the case of Victor, he suffered an injury and another player stepped up and took his place. We are in a team, we are not a charity.'
Wanyama will reportedly agree to make the move if the Jupiler Pro League side qualifies for the Champions League. If he accepts the five-year deal, it would make him the highest earner in the club's history on KSh 8.2 million (£65,000) per week.
Wanyama's potential move to Club Brugge has sparked interest, with the midfielder's future at Tottenham Hotspur hanging in the balance.
