Kenya's 2019 National Population and Housing Census exercise entered its third day on August 26, 2019, with many Kenyans still awaiting their turn to be counted.
As the exercise extended its hours in major urban centers to 10 pm, and 9 pm in rural areas, social media users shared their experiences, including comedian Eric Omondi.
Eric Omondi, known for his humor, was up to his usual antics when a female enumerator visited him to collect his data. He recorded a video of their interaction, where he flirted with the enumerator and thanked Interior CS Fred Matiang'i for the Census exercise.
“Eh Matiang’i asante. Mungu akubariki. Hivi ndio mtu anapatanga bibi…God bless you Matiang’i..Hivo ndio umenipatia bibi,” says Eric in the short clip.
He further captioned it: “MATIANGI for President!!! Nimehesabika…God bless Kenya?????? If you know you know????#CensusIfanyweKilaMwaka”
