On a recent visit to India, Sabina Chege, the Murang'a Woman Representative, discovered the reasons behind the increasing number of Kenyans seeking medical treatment in the country.

According to Sabina, one of the primary reasons is the prevalence of misdiagnosis in Kenyan hospitals. She noted that treatment in India is not only cheaper but also more prompt, with access to advanced technology and a more patient-focused approach.

During her visit, Sabina met with gospel musician Jimmy Gait, who had traveled to India for tests after suffering throat complications. While Sabina did not disclose Jimmy's specific condition, she stated that she would be tabling a report in parliament and recommending laws to address the issue.

Jimmy Gait, however, was quick to rubbish reports that he was suffering from throat cancer. He explained that he had been battling a condition and had visited several hospitals before deciding to seek treatment abroad. Jimmy appealed to his fans to refrain from spreading rumors about his condition, as it was affecting his family and loved ones.
