Disney+ Series 'The Falcon and The Winter Soldier' Unveils Major Makeover for Bucky Barnes ¶

Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan are reuniting for a Disney+ series centered on their 'Captain America' characters. The new poster for 'The Falcon and The Winter Soldier' series has revealed a major makeover for Bucky/The Winter Soldier, played by Sebastian Stan.
Sebastian Stan's Bucky Barnes has more or less looked the same since his re-introduction as The Winter Soldier in 2014's 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier.' However, the new poster shows Bucky with a significant transformation, sporting short hair and a trimmed beard.
The new look is quite similar to how Bucky looked when he first met Steve Rogers in 2011's 'Captain America: The First Avenger.' The series will deal with the aftermath of the events in 'Avengers: Endgame,' where Sam Wilson passed the shield to Steve Rogers.
Disney+ will launch on November 12th, featuring titles like 'The Mandalorian' and other projects featuring MCU talent. 'The Falcon and The Winter Soldier' is set to premiere in Fall 2020.
Sebastian Stan has been preparing for his eighth turn as the character by putting in quite a bit of gym time. Emily VanCamp and Daniel Bruhl will also be returning for the series.
